Lovely to see the Goldfinch family visiting the garden again ...... they pop in for something to eat now & again :-)

I was quite surprised to see this adult Goldfinch repelling the Sparrows & hanging on to his place on the feeder ...... determined not to be usurped!

He lasted there for quite a while ..... until a Sparrow actually landed on him .... that was too much & he had to let go! He managed a good feed before then :-)

Even less people wearing masks in the supermarket today ..... at this rate we shall soon be about the only ones wearing them!
