Bed time tea

I did take a picture earlier today, selfie with the youngest, but I generally don't like pictures of myself and put it in the dp not share 'file'.

The eldest has been an utter trooper today, full day at acting club, picked him up, gave him a chocolate muffin for energy and up to his tutor for some school work, before home to tea, bath, bed and sleep - all in pretty quick order and mostly in utter good humour!

The youngest and I had a decidedly more relaxed day, swimming (he loves it!!), coffee / lemonade at the pop up farm cafe, then home for playing / house work, depending upon which age bracket you fall into....

An evening of paper work and starting the never-ending sewing on of name tapes for me. All in the name of revision avoidance- which I must start hitting again with a vengeance.

Today I'm grateful for
The eldest enjoying the pace of life and getting things done
Egg and spoon race around the kitchen with the youngest, he won, but mainly because he held onto his egg, the cheat
Starting the name badge sewing...
