Transplanted
Last autumn I lifted a clump of Acis autumnale, the autumn snowflake, from the old garden and planted them into the sandy raised bed here. Along with them came a few strands of Campanula cochlearifolia which had run through them as it spread. Now both seem happy here :-)
A busy sort of day. Lots of bitty things that needed doing including measuring up at Jamie's flat so we can plan flooring, curtains and furniture. I did eventually get a bit of time to repot a few more bulbs before work. The crocus I have done so far seem to have done well here. Hopefully it's a trend that will repeat as I go on with this - mammoth - job.
Jamie was sparked into life this afternoon by a call from Katie who has been having issues with her feet. The physio wants her to use her wheelchair for a bit, not to walk. Her chair is not designed for everyday use or use unassisted so Jamie has sorted one of his spare chairs for her. An extra pic of him at work - just as remarkable was that he managed to extract them from the very full shed on his own!
