local history

now this isnt a photo from today but i wasnt at the event that happened today and this photo is todo with it ......

my little boy is a member of the pupil school council ...it involves alsorts of things for him todo....today one of them was having his photo taken for the news paper holding the shovel that this royal held and used to plant the new tree in white city....the shovel is now displayed on the school wall .

part of local history...and the school was there to watch it being planted on the day .

now i have to keep my eyes open in the papers for my boys picture!
