Honey frame

Callie walked round the streets sadly the plum tree was bare.

Headed west to out apiary. Plan was hive inspections managed 5 hives totally checked until the temp got to me so quick checks for brood.

Surprisingly we have a bit of honey i think clove, the frames looked great sealed. Put clearing boards on so I can take the honey off the bees.

The merged hive worked as larvae and spotted the queen strutting over the combs.

Soup and chat with the laird and then final nuc checks. Tidy up and home.

Tree surgeon coming to local apiary so headed up to help and supply a bee suit to protect him. Hard work but felt good and the light to the hives is amazing.

Just had a swarm callout will go tomorrow am and get it. Not my bees.
