Late Blip! Home again. Outside looking in.

We’re not long home from what was our very last trip to Bristol to see the family after 13 years of driving the 100 miles there and back, on a regular basis. Took a photo from outside looking in but changed it to extras instead!
They will be moving soon, by mid-September, to live near us, a twenty minute walk away. 6 minutes in the car.
We had a lovely time. And then we ate our tea outside at the kitchen table which we put there in the warm sunshine.
It was fresh made pizzas using an Ooni pizza oven. They were excellent.
Just relaxing now with a G&T.
It was a bit strange watching them all at their front door waving us off enthusiastically with the “Sold” sign at the end of the drive.
A new adventure waiting for them and the challenge of settling in themselves and four children into a new environment.
I am so looking forward to it.
