Slow lorries and a detour

We left David and Hayley in good time but were slowed down by slow lorries overtaking on the 2 lane section of the A1, a crash on the M1 making the York Junction horrendously busy and finally the A66 at Scotch Corner was blocked by an accident. We got home via the A68 and A69, feeling very grateful that we got home safely. A different outcome for those involved in the incidents.
