Busy busy

Early walk down the river path before breakfast. Just leaving for a run and stopped to talk to new neighbour, good job we did as she had someone coming to sort her drains and didn’t realise she needed access to our garden.
Run, back showered and packed a sandwich and cold drinks and walked up onto the moor for lunch. It was lovely and quiet sitting by a pond and enjoying the sun.
Hubby continued the painting this afternoon and I did cleaning as daughter was coming on Saturday for a week.
Message from daughter to say change of plan and they would not be staying. We currently have workmen at houses on both sides of us and directly across so the cottage not a quiet place to be just now.
