Planespotting

For the second time this week I cycled to the Flugplatz Ramstein. Many planespotters there today, some along the path in the sun and many more sitting in the shade of the trees on the edge of the woods. Quite some cameras to be seen!
The police was around, just like Tuesday, doing rounds.
In the few minutes I was there 3 planes came in and 2 left.

When I came home my neighbour was on the street and we chatted for more than 2 hours. While we were standing on the sidewalk, there were planes coming in in 10 to 15-minute-intervals, going right over our heads. I wonder if any came straight from Afghanistan. I did look at every single plane wondering about that. We are used to air traffic and when the wind is coming from the east the planes fly right over our heads, landing gear already out. But not that many and not in such short intervals; you can tell there is something going on.
