Old Chestnuts

Riding back from the Wanstead Park café along the avenue of sweet chestnuts the same old jokes were being swapped along with the standard set of insults dished out to each other. It's what makes for an enjoyable trip.

One of the group gives us advice on just about everything and anything. He tells us what we should have done after the event. We think he should take up dentistry, brain surgery, car repairing, building construction and replacing cataracts, among other things. He could certainly do these things better than the practitioners themselves. And we make sure we let him know. It almost drives him wild.
