Thanks for all the eggs

This is a photograph of our neighbours saying goodbye and thank you to Kathy, having hijacked her at her van.
 
Well it would have been is someone had remembered to take out the camera along with the card and pressies from all of us.  Last Wednesday I blipped the image I used for the thank you card.  At least Kathy got the card and pressies.
 
Kathy has been delivering for twenty two years, and two of our neighbours were amongst her very first customers.  Tears were shed.
 
 
So the shot is of our stockpile of eggs which should keep us going for a while, and the 1lb weight which has been at our front door for the past seventeen years which held down the empty egg boxes and order note(s) (laminated versions for the past seven years).  The weight has now been brought in, and Mrs W thinks we should frame it in memory of Kathy, well the egg deliveries anyway.
 
 
We are now on the lookout for a local supplier of free range eggs.
