High tea.

The doc's appointment went well. Too complicated to explain, but blood readings were better, but she was still not happy, so more blood tests in two weeks. I can't fault the treatment I have received from her so far, it has almost been like private healthcare, and I am very grateful to her. As soon as we got back home, I opened my birthday cards & presents, and then we went to M & S to do the food shop. I had a voucher from them to spend on a birthday treat, so I bought sandwiches, pork pies, scones and clotted cream, and the jam my daughter bought me as an extra present will go nicely on the scones. After packing the food in the car, we went to the coffee shop  and had a coffee and a light snack. My replacement Joules coat was delivered not long after we arrived home, and it fits, so very happy about that. All in all, a good birthday, just another year older.
