The staircase!

I went for a walk that I don't usually go on and got this view of Neptunes staircase on the Caledonian Canal.

It is the longest staircase lock in the United Kingdom and lifts boats 64 feet. I think this shows the "slope" very well. The structure at the front is the railway line.

I am still loving being able to walk and exploring.....the novelty hasn't worn off yet.
