Back to work in full Misty haar and a puffa jacket. By midday it was a scorcher.
Nice patients, easy day.
Home to a Optometry Scotland zoom meeting reviewing all the latest regulations and what we have to do in practice regarding cleaning, disinfecting, PPE, lateral flows … endless lists which have five tiers of Government advice, NHS advice, local Lothians advice, British College advice and employers advice. All to keep your patient safe and us at one metre away safe from the patient ( and staff). Tis a minefield. I’m just going to do safest practice and cross my fingers.
Dropped off Son 1 and then went on a driving jaunt with Son 2 who is becoming more and more the confident driver. Frustratingly cannot get his test til December having passed his theory so debating whether to give up lessons whilst he’s at Uni and no doubt over the limit for the next three months.
No death scare moments so definite progress.
