Meltdown

A beautiful snowfall, about 3-4 cms in exposed places (and much thicker on higher ground). As it melts now it's amazing to see plants, like this Pieris, standing tall and fresh again although until mid-morning they were bowed down with the snow's weight. Temperatures? I'll admit it's been a tad cold (read 'freezing')....
