Orange Blossom Special

This is little Tristan, our great-grandson. He is spending the week with his mommy, our granddaughter (Desiree). This is him today clowning around with Mommy. In our book, he's the greatest little guy in the whole world. Just one month ago he celebrated his 6th birthday.

Currently he lives with his daddy. This is spring break week at his school so he gets to be with his mommy. When his year of kindergarten ends in June, I think he'll be moving back to his mom's home. I think it has just about killed her to not have him daily with her. I think she has gotten her life in better order and is prepared and able to care for Tristan now.

Tristan's middle name should be "resilent" because during his short life he's lived through considerable choas and lots of moving from place to place. He is a fun-loving, good natured little boy who loves to learn.

It is a great delight to spend time with him.

P.S. Because Desiree took this photo today sent it to us today, I framed it in a photo of orange blossoms from our navel orange tree that is currently causing our backyard to smell wonderfully with its fragrance.

P.P.S. Tristan's face has a scratch from playing with his puppy that is now almost larger than Tristan. The puppy doesn't realize how big he is and how little Tristan is.
