Beefstake

Today we went on a nice walk with my wife's uncle and auntie. We went on a long walk from our house and passed through the woods, past Sanquhar Loch, up Cluny hill, down through the high street and home again. We saw lots of different Fungi on the walk, a lot of them we have never seen before. Theres seems to be a lot more than previous years. They've sprung up in the last few weeks after we had a lot of rain. This mushroom is called beefsteak fungi. It was really nice to show family around where we live. We had intended to go up Nelsons Tower at the top of Cluny Hill but we were an hour too early. We went to Logie Steading for lunch which was nice. Afterwards we went for a short walk down by the river. In the evening we all had lentil spaghetti for tea. It was great day and so nice to see family and catch up.
