Hidcote

Today we went into Chipping Norton in the morning to get some more reading material the after an early lunch we went to  see the gardens at Hidcote.
It wasn’t to crowded and some areas were really beautiful but they have suffered quite badly during Covid with a lack of labour as many of the gardeners and all the volunteers were asked not to come. So other areas do look a bit  overgrown I think it will take some time to catch up.
Has another lovely chat with our friends when we got back to the site as they had also been out for the day.
We had our last zoom meeting with the dance group this evening. Next week is a garden dance then we are back in the village hall dancing.
Been a nice day again some cloud but mostly sunny with a cool breeze
