Today went according to plan. Strange, but true.
The weather was good, as forecast (also strange, but true), and I got a lot done in the garden.
Then I jumped in the car to meet Junior for dinner in Dunfermline. We tried out an Indian place (Khushi’s) neither of us had been to before, and it was excellent.
Does anyone detect a pattern here?
I parked next to the Abbey, and that provided my Blip. The Abbey was founded in 1128 by King David I, but I am not sure if the bit in my Blip (the refectory) is original. Certainly it had lost its roof and was heading for ruination by 1563.
Robert the Bruce (king from 1306 to 1329) and a number of other Scottish monarchs are buried in the Abbey.
