Early walk at Aber

Beautiful morning by the harbour. Love the light on the hills and sea. The beach is grey with pebbles but the sea is pure blue. This is a beautiful place. The large stone building in the extra is the Old College part of the University of Aberystwyth. Years ago as a student I walked in amongst the carved stones inside and sat by the large stained glass bay window looking out over the sea and the pier. A lot of old uni students never leave Aber. I can indeed understand why. The place has a grey majestic beauty of its own. I find myself thinking of ways I could live here. It is always difficult to leave.
