Morning after the storm: the non-sign

Left our dock around 7AM this morning to sun coming up, blue sky and only a slight breeze. Hope those kids kayaked back home early before more wind came up. (yesterday's blip)
Although that was a bit of a short visit to the island for me, I always feel renewed .....and it's good to be home in Seattle to faster internet!

This is what greets one going into the USA at the Canadian Peace Arch border! The "non sign", or the "clean air billboard." I've blipped it before , at night, but everyday it's different (obviously). Not everyone is so pleased with it, but I love it and look forward to it each time through... Before we got home, the sky turned grey, it rained and it HAILED! It's cold!
Off to a great program at the ballet tonight....
