Tapas with Simone

A wonderful end to a long day!

Simone is my oldest friend, she is a sculptor and lives in Wales, her Husband Nik is the Men They Couldn't Hang's drummer, on tour supporting Stiff Little Fingers playing Camden tomorrow so down to see Nik mid Tour.

We met in Richmond and found a great Tapas restaurant, so great to catch up!

This morning I went to Brighton for a dress fitting, my wedding dress is being nicely turned into a stage outfit, I'm really pleased with it, thanks Kevin at Renaissance!

Then on to help my Mum clear out more stuff, we went through all her jewellery, she has given me her wedding and engagement rings to look after, very sweet. I won't see her for a month now and feel quite
worried as she is so unsteady and came close to falling on the stairs today, I know lots of people are visiting and she is going to her boyfriend's for the weekend, she looked very sad when I left :-(
