Red Admiral

The weather turned out great this afternoon. I had a quick inspection of two of the beehives and found they are getting short of honey. We took a good crop off them and now need to repay them with some syrup, so they can overwinter successfully.
The butterflies are on the Buddleia at last and looking lovely. This yellow plant Buddleia weyeriana is a real star, and flowers quite late into the Autumn.
Rob is feeling rather better now and even went out gardening! That was a mistake and he soon came in again! However I think he has turned the corner.
