Plockton Views
A tad cloudy first thing, but cleared into a beautiful sunny day and evening.
Up fairly early, and we all headed out after breakfast. Headed through the mountains, and to Applecross, with stops along the way. This time going over the mountain pass, we went west to east. We headed as far south as Plockton. Takeaway for tea, a quiet pint and then an early night. One thing I've been noticing today, the rowan trees are beautiful, with plenty of berries. Met a friendly deer in the mountains too.
My first time in Plockton, and a stunning little village. Sadly arriving late in the afternoon, the sun was on the wrong side for shots of the village itself. It had a feel of a gardeners dream location, plenty of flowers, looking tropical with the cordyline australis, and even a fine big palm tree. Looking out from Harbour Street, Plockton.
