After 45 years

45 years ago Mandy founded News from Nowhere, Liverpool's independent bookshop. For most of those years it has run as a Women's Co-0p and it is now very well established on the Liverpool scene, with its own premises on Bold Street and the recipient of many awards including "Freedom of the City".

And now Mandy is retiring, although I'm sure she'll still be seen in the bookshop and around town. 45 years in one place of work. Incredible. And what an amazing legacy.
