Memories

This little fellow and his mate used to belong to my grandparents, and have now taken up residence at either end of our mantle piece in the living room.

I'm not 100% sure about their history, but I'm fairly sure they came from a time before conservation, so please don't blame me if they look like they might be made from politically incorrect materials!

It's funny really - of all the bits and pieces they'd collected over the years, these were the only ones that I had a strong reaction to, and wanted to keep to remember them by. Strange old world we live in...
