Spring is in the Air

I went out for my usual Monday walk, without the other walkers.  I packed my lunch, and off I went.  Into town, then around towards Eely Point, where I had my lunch.  Returned the same way.  I took this photo on the way home, noticed that the Kowhai tree is in flower, and along with the Willow tree, thought it looks quite spring like.  12K steps, or just over 8 k's.  

I met a couple who were walking to Glendhu Bay, over 12 k's, 24 k's all up.  I told them it would take all day, and they said 'We've got all day'.  It is far too far for me.

Our Prime Minister is about to bring us a update, we hope that the South Island well go to Level 3 or Level 2.

No sun today, and a bit windy, but not too cold.  +13C.
