539 days since the Whitecaps played a game at home in front of their fans. And what a day it was.
After going down 0-1 to LAFC (Los Angeles Football Club) following a somewhat dubious penalty, they equalized early in the second half.
And then, like a script from a Hollywood movie, the Caps latest star signing, Ryan Gauld, (once billed as the Scottish Messi), headed the winner in the 89th minute, his first goal for the club.
