Bonnie purple heather

Was great to escape to the countryside this afternoon (and work off all the pancakes I ate for brunch!). The promised rain fortunately held off until after our walk on the heather-clad hillside. Daisy loved it and was jumping over the heather like a mini-kangaroo! (I’ll try and add some photos of her and other views when I’m on the laptop next as got some nice shots)

Was great having all the kids here for tea - the boys have both been working summer jobs so haven’t seen much of them for days.
