A day at Aegir

We left for Groningen early this morning, as Pippa’s rowing club organised a parent/family day for the first year race rowers (like Pippa is). We arrived to have lunch, then Pippa showed us around the boathouse, we tried the ergometers and had a Hartog family outing in a C4 rowing boat. The family day also marked the official start of the new rowing/training season for Pippa. All women rowers start training together and today 2 eights, a quad and a double went on the water together. As family we were able to cycle along to watch this first training. This is the eighth Pippa rowed in (in the bow seat).
