Puppy Love

It’s Hendstock Boxing Day and as usual, I spent hours cooking bacon and sausages and making tea and coffee for the endless stream of people, including the many who camped in the garden, who turned up this morning. Seren was very keen on Bertie who was more interested in catching up on his sleep. Everyone pitched in to help tidy up. We were hampered by rain which didn’t help but it was nice to see everyone and chat about last night. It seems it was a huge success and it’s been lovely reading all the messages and looking at peoples photos. It looks like we’ve raised about £3,000 so far for Meningitis Now.
Margaret and Helen are here and we had steak for dinner and a quiet evening.
