Whittington Castle

A grand day out and so many points of memorable interest. My wife and I, together with Hollie dog, visited Whittingtoin Castle, in Shropshire, England.
On our way home from a chilled weekend in Wales, we stopped by the castle to view the surroundings and look at cars. Namely Jaguars. The Jaguar Enthusiats Club were meeting and displaying a fine range of classy, and classic motors. The weather was fine and everyone was in a happy mood. Great surroundings, great cars and and pleasing company. We enjoyed it immensely. BUT.....what topped the day off for us was an invite to meet and take refreshment with a fellow blipper, NatureWatcher. How splendid it was to meet you and see your lovely home and garden. And drink coffee, and eat cake!  You did us proud and we are very happy to meet you, and enjoy your hospitality. What a special day it was for us. Thank you!

I think Shropshire is just the finest county and we will be exploring more as soon as we can. But first we have a garage to build and a Cat to buy, so here's to many more happy memories in the future. The extra is a vision I have and what a great day to imagine driving one of these fabulous cars. The ones we saw were wonderful, and sounded fantastic. The castle is a perfect backdrop as well. 

It's all too beautiful.....
