Not quite sure why...

but for some reason many of the people that I have loved the most in my life seem to be rather fond of these little things that come with a warning about death. For some reason the fact that these American Spirit's were being smoked by a German - and that the warning says SMOKING CAN KILL YOU... amused me.

It was a good evening. Great dinner, the fact that I didn't have to cook it helped. Difficult conversation, but needed. And in the end good. Resolution is over-rated.

There was a really good Barolo involved, which always seems to help.
