Are you all right?
"Are you all right?" I was asked just now.
It was a security man. I guessed he actually wanted to know why I was walking round pointing my camera at the exterior of buildings at the Vangarde shopping centre, rather than have an update on my general well-being. Speaker meaning and sentence meaning aren't always the same thing.
I think he was curious more than anything and seemed interested in hearing about my goal of taking a daily photo. Should have asked to photograph him.
These places are aesthetically pleasing in their own way, I guess. I also find them a bit depressing. The way we shop, and live our lives, has changed a lot during my lifetime.
