Bicentennial 'Vette

A backblip from our trip to the north woods of Wisconsin.

On our way to the National Lakeshore (Lake Superior) Park, we stopped in a small town along the way (probably for a thrift store) and this lady pulled up in her '76 Corvette. She was fine with my taking this pic to send along to my nephew for our "hot rods and prayers" correspondence. The original owner, she said it still runs like a top though added that lately it seems to be shrinking since it was getting harder to get in and out on her drives.

A sweet ride and a fine person (with my kind of sense of humor) ... and, as I've been known to observe, the adventure through the viewfinder continues.
