Dingy Footman moth

Went for a walk around Whisby nature reserve , just outside Lincoln .
Managed 5,000 steps and found this moth on ragwort. Had a nice chat with the assistant ranger who identified the moth :-) Pleased i took my macro flash to get a deeper depth of field than I managed without the flash.
I also spotted a large terrapin on one of the man made islands on Teal lake and a grey heron fishing, well it had caught a frog , both a bit too far away to publish the images.
