Happy Birthday Mum!

That means cake!! So I'm a happy bunny today!! And mum was very happy with her pressies too, considering she had no idea what she wanted! I do like the internet to help me out on a pressie hunt!

The weather forecast wasn't looking too smart for today, but with torrential rain and storms overnight - which we all slept through! - that led to a fairly dry morning so we decided to head out to a nearby garden centre for a birthday breakfast! And very nice it was too!! Nice little wander around the plants too and brought home a couple of little houseplants!

And then I managed to get a bit of gardening done before the rain arrived again which has been around for most of the afternoon - drying up now though! The lavatera flowers are just my favourites at the moment!! so here's a close up!

Strange occurence of the day was in the utility room though with the carpet runner ending up completely soaked and we have no idea how... all the floor round it was dry - no leak from the washing machine or freezer! No hole in the ceiling either! Very bizarre!!
