Looking very proud of himself. Not my dog but a friend who sent me the picture with a promise to meet up at the end of the summer. I didn’t think she would ever be the sort of person to get a dog but OH had dogs before and they had the time to train him. He is now very much part of the family.

Nothing much today apart from a trip to
Homebase to look at their plants which are quite expensive. House plants are making a kind of renaissance. I had lots years ago then moved to dried flowers then silk flowers but have enjoyed welcoming them back into the house again. Both offspring also have plants in their flats but no.2 is not very good at remembering to water or nurture so they do come home for a holiday from time to time for me to work plant magic. I looked at rubber plants in Homebase but baulked at paying over £20 for a medium sized one - I will have another trip to IKEA soon. However I did purchase two sad looking specimens in the sale reduced from 12.99 to 2.99 and repotted them, watered and fed. Hopefully plant magic will work and they will spring back into life. Pictures in a few weeks.
