Sydney Park

My purpose in visiting the park today, other than exercise, was to photograph the rising moon, scheduled for 5.07pm, in the south east. Over the last few days there has been a hazard reduction burning operation, for the purpose of reducing excess fuel in the hope of lessening the risk of greater fires in the summer heat. This puts a lot of smoke into the atmosphere which makes people cough and irritates eyes. It also dulled the moonrise, which I've included as an extra.
