Alps

A wee change - a view towards the Alps from the terrace without any churches in sight! We were sitting out, having a late bite to eat and just enjoying being there.
Not much of any great import happening today; took a stroll around a clothes shop in town that’s closing down and bought some shorts (the last days of summer and I buy shorts? Ah, well!), we cycled across to S’s brother and shot the breeze for a while (we’re all on edge in case he doesn’t manage to rent the flat he’s gone after), came home and baked an apple tart (with the usual recipe variants so we’ll see how it tastes tomorrow when S’s mum comes around), then the terrace beckoned.
