Amanda Knight Hall

This building was originally a girls' dormitory, built in 1939, named for a woman who, with her husband, was a donor to the university.  It later went through a few different uses through the years and eventually was vacant for a few years, when it fell into a state of disrepair.  The university was planning to demolish the building, but an investor bought the property and has renovated it back to its original use, as girls' apartments.  I am so glad the building was saved.  It lends a sense of nostalgia to the community, and it is such a beautiful building.
