You Come Across the Strangest Things

Sometimes you are walking along a country path and you come across a sight you just don't expect. I had no expectation of coming across this ruined property. It is at least half a kilometre from the nearest local road (well other than the M6 which is within 20 metres of where I was standing).

I am fortunate enough to have access through work to historic mapping going back to the late 1880s so should at least be able to find out a bit more when I'm there tomorrow.
