Saving lives at sea

The RNLI provides a valuable service around the country’s coasts and today we were able to appreciate the work they do up close with a visit to Anstruther where an open day was being held to raise funds to build a new station. Their lifeboat is also due to be replaced soon - the current vessel‘ Kingdom of Fife’ celebrates its 30th birthday today.
