Moon rising into the Clouds
Sorry I had to change my blip! Just going to bed when I saw the golden glow of the moon rising behind the mountains then disappearing into the clouds!
Now the small tortoiseshell butterfly is in extra on the stunted, thistle type, flowers (but what are they?) on a ridge above the Diablerets Hut at 2,500m. I had walked up there hoping to see the big male bouquetin that are often nearby but didn’t see any today. Since returning home we (or perhaps Preston) have had a constant stream of unexpected, lovely visitors.
So many people to thank for placing yesterday’s lady bouquetin on the first Popular Page but I can’t get into the notifications area. It has been like this for a while so I have given up!
