Stormy weather

We were forecast a day of rain and storms.  We did have some rain at various points in the day and the gardens are now well watered.  I managed some weeding on the allotment and the sun even came out.  

Later in the afternoon I popped down to the beach with my son where I took this shot of what looked like rain heading this way.  It didn't materialise though but we had some more later in the afternoon.  A very warm muggy day.
