Afternoon Tea

The girls from work treated me to afternoon tea at a gorgeous country house prior to Maternity leave.

It was such a treat! Dainty sandwiches, cakes, scones, jam, cream and lashings of Lapsong Suchong. The best part was sitting for nearly three hours with these bright, like minded ladies who had some fab chat, interesting gossip and lots of stories that made us all laugh.

I hope the two of us that have had littles haven't put the other two off...we had lots of tales of labour, childbirth, naughtiness. But also of the love that you feel for your children and how much joy they bring.

When I got home I had some lovely cuddles with C and H and was reminded once again just how much they mean to me:-))
