Tractors, We Got Tractors

One of my walking buddies (Jack) and I went to the Mid-Michigan Old Gas Tractor Show today. It is held annually in Oakley, Michigan, which is about 50 miles from my house.

Imagine...if you will...1,000+ tractors and all of the country folks that go along with the machines. Add to the mix 20-25 old steam engines, and you have a feast for both the eyes and the ears. 

We got in for half-price today ($ 5.00) because we're old, and it was well worth it. The only drawback? It was too warm (86F when we left), but we still stayed for about 2 1/2 hours.

Tomorrow, Jack and I are teaming up again to go to a giant car show. WOO_HOO! We're starting early (8 a.m.) to try to avoid the heat.
