Cake anyone?!

Had a friend over for coffee this morning and discovered I had no biscuits in so my usual fall back is this Victoria sponge cake.

I always have ingredients in and cake always turns out not too bad! Luckily I had enough time to make it with kids this morning before she arrived, just as well kids are early risers:-)
