End of an Era

FRIDAY

After working from home for 306 working days I have finally called time. I shut down the computer at 17:00 today (see extra) and I am now on annual leave until the beginning of October when I will officially retire.

We celebrated with Prosecco and my favourite Rainbow Cake this evening. I have been asked if I can log into the odd work meeting during my holidays so I am hanging onto my IT equipment for now.

The end of an era. Even though I have not worked in the office for 18 months I have kept in virtual contact with everyone. I will miss my work colleagues.
