Ruined 'Gate'

The fire damage to this old pub, The Garden Gate, happened several years ago. One day it was open and busy - the next it was smouldering timbers. It's future is unknown and it's currently up for sale but would need a very enthusiastic DIY person! I can't see it making a thriving business opportunity and maybe planning for housing development has been refused. It doesn't have a great location to catch enough passing trade so we wait and see.

I was in my way back from a lovely catch up with a good friend. We haven't been able to meet up since Covid hit so there was a lot to talk about. Once home I needed to get on with stocking up the motor home as we are away tomorrow for a week - starting with a blipmeet at Charlecote Manor.
